It was nice to go to a small-stage concert for someone like her. I think that a small stage is so much better for really getting a feel for an artist. If I had known about it in time I would've totally gone. I've loved her ever since I started listening to The New Pornographers about 5 or 6 years ago. I'm glad you enjoyed the show. Her new album is incredible, I think. Bon Iver is playing Workplay on June 3rd. I believe that's the next show I'll be attending there. I've seen two shows there already and I think it's a great venue. There are two separate concert halls in Workplay. I've only been in the split-level one with plenty of table-seating. I love it.
